Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs within a high-speed beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for regulatory compliance, audit readiness, quality system management, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams.
Candidates with experience in beverage manufacturing, bottling, and co-packing, are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead plant food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, GMP, SQF, FSMA, CAPA, allergen control, and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
- Manage customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audit programs.
- Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action initiatives.
- Supervise and develop QA, QC, and sanitation personnel.
- Partner with operations teams to improve product quality, food safety, and process performance.
- Monitor quality KPIs, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Support product launches, process validations, and operational changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of beverage manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of quality leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, FDA, FSMA, GMPs, and quality management systems.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and food safety programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Coca-Cola, beverage bottling, co-packing, or other major beverage manufacturers.
- HACCP, SQF Practitioner, ASQ, or related certifications.
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
